KYADONDO TECHNICAL INSTITUTE HOSTS MUTEESA I ROYAL UNIVERSITY DELEGATION TO STRENGTHEN ACADEMIC PARTNERSHIP

Kyadondo Technical Institute had the honour to host a high-level delegation from Muteesa I Royal University in a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening collaboration and fostering academic partnerships between the two institutions.

 

The visiting team was led by the Deputy Vice Chancellor Dr. Patrick Bwowe, and the Academic Registrar, Dr. Fred Musisi Kamoga, alongside other key university stakeholders. The visit marked an important step toward building stronger institutional ties, particularly in the areas of program affiliation and academic development.

During the engagement, both institutions held productive discussions focused on aligning selected academic programs, enhancing quality assurance frameworks, and exploring opportunities for joint initiatives. The leadership emphasized the importance of collaboration in improving educational standards, expanding access to quality training, and equipping students with relevant skills for today’s dynamic workforce.

 

Speaking during the meeting, representatives from Kyadondo Technical Institute led by Mr Kanaaba Deus the Principal expressed their appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed their commitment to fostering partnerships that promote innovation, excellence, and mutual growth. The delegation from Muteesa I Royal University similarly highlighted the value of collaboration in strengthening higher education and technical training in the region.

The visit also included a tour of the institute’s facilities, where the guests were able to interact with staff and gain insight into ongoing programs and institutional achievements.
